About Rishav Kumar

I am an Urban Designer at StudioPOD, a multidisciplinary design studio that focuses on creating sustainable and innovative solutions for urban challenges. I have been working on various urban design projects of different scales and contexts, such as riverfront development, public parks, and temple precinct rejuvenation. My responsibilities include conceptualization, presentation, technical drawings, site visits, client and consultant coordination, and team management. I have contributed to the design and development of the Mula-Mutha riverfront, the Pawana-Indrayani riverfront, and the Dafnala riverfront park, among others. I have a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, where I graduated in 2022. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the National Institute of Technology, Patna, where I was the branch topper in 2018. As a designer of rational approach, I aspire to create sensible user-centric spaces that would stand out as simple solutions to complex issues. I believe in synergy and responsible collaboration at work. I am passionate about urban life photography, documentation and research, and writing poetry that tells a narrative about life.
