As a Duty Manager at Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel, I ensure the smooth functioning of the hotel and promote a welcoming environment for guests and staff. I have successfully resolved various guest complaints and queries, set up accurate accounts for each guest, and ensured the night audit is complete and balanced to Marriott requirements. I have also assisted management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, and motivating employees, demonstrating my leadership and communication skills. I hold a MSc in Economics, Finance and Management from the University of Bristol, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in economic analysis, financial modelling, and management techniques. I have applied these skills to help the hotel's creditors and other stakeholders facing financial challenges and threats across the economic cycle, as well as to monitor and improve the quality and presentation of the hotel's products and services.
