About Rishikesh Autade

I have completed Post Graduation in M. Sc. BIOTECHNOLOGY and Graduation in B.Sc. BIOTECHNOLOGY in September 2009 and June 2007 respectively, and currently pursuing PhD in Medical Biotechnology since 2012. Since my under graduation as students, teaching and research profession has been very close to my heart. I was always inclined to take brief lectures and used to give power point presentation on various syllabus topics to my juniors and that continued in post-graduation. The teacher is “life-long learner” and teaching means learning, throughout the life. To be with and nourish the current techno-savvy generation of students and changing educational conditions, a teacher has to update his knowledge and polish his teaching skills by undergoing through various training, seminars, workshops and staff exchange programmes. Since from, the 1st day of my teaching career I was a keen learner and observer. As a Biotechnologist, molecular biology and genetic engineering is very useful for changing the cellular process and would be useful to mankind to develop resistant crops to most of the biotic and abiotic stress. I would like to learn more about changes takes place in plant cell wall in stress conditions and also would like to teach about biotechnological application during my visit under the staff exchange programme. For becoming a good teacher and researcher one should have vast experience in the respective field and to gain it, I am now applying and searching for opportunities for one-month staff exchange programme in foreign Universities. I am confident that, as a teacher, I would always do and work for the benefit of my dear students to uphold them and myself in this competitive world. And last but not least, A TINY CELL, I COULD NOT SEE BY MY NAKED EYE, IS KEEPING ME ALIVE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR MOTIVATING ME TO LEARN MORE ABOUT IT.
