About Rishima Varma

Hello! I’m Rishima. I am a recent graduate of Iowa State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. In my last year of college, I served as editor-in-chief for Iowa State's student-run fashion, beauty, and lifestyle publication, TREND magazine, where I co-led a group of 100+ students in the creation of two magazine issues. In this position, I oversaw art direction, editorial, styling, photography, and much more. I am interested in fashion, music, culture and their interaction with art and design. Every creative project of mine is made with immense love and devotion to detail. I do particularly well with grappling with abstract forms and ideas, and I integrate those into my work in any way I can. I value collaboration and find that successful work stems from supportive, uplifting environments. I am very passionate and driven about the work I create.
