About Rishu Prasad

I am a driven and passionate PhD student with a keen interest in sustainable materials in civil engineering. Throughout my academic career, I have consistently sought out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills in this area, and I am excited to continue doing so as a PhD student. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at The University of Manchester, where I am focusing on developing sustainable materials for micro-energy generation and harvesting. My work involves design, develop, fabricate, test and analyse waste material and find potential application. In addition to my research, I am also an active member of the academic community. I have presented my work at several conferences, and have published 9 papers in peer-reviewed journals. I also enjoy mentoring undergraduate and post graduate students and am involved in several outreach initiatives to promote science education.
