Rita Achrekar is an established board director and a former banking executive with expertise in global capital markets, risk management, governance, and business transformation. She currently serves on the boards of ICICI Bank Canada, QuadReal Property Group, Farm Credit Canada and Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF) and was previously on boards of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and Scotia Commodities Inc. As an Executive in Residence at the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services, Rita is involved in research and education in areas of emerging risks. She is sought as a speaker and an advisor on topics relating to risk management, governance and ESG.
