About Rita Brizzi

I’m a mechanical engineer, I graduated in 2008 with a master’s degree with emphasis in “Energetic Systems” (obtained with full marks 110/110). On December 2008 I started my experience in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Static Equipment and Heaters designer in the Engineering dept, in SAIPEM (Rome). On June 2011 I moved to GE holding first in the position of Lead Design Engineer for pumps out of portfolio (new hydraulic design) and then, since 2018, as a Project Engineer in the requisition team. During these years, thanks to my work in R&D dept, I also had the chance to define new process for hydraulic design, taking part in the development of new company software tools, and deepen technical issues. I am also the co-author of 3 publications, for which I’ve been the relator during the Pump Symposium 2019 held in Houston (Texas) and during the Asian Pump Symposium 2020 held in KL ( Malaysia) During the last year, as Project Engineer, I managed complex projects, focusing on “on time delivery “and being in close contact with customers and managing the internal project team. I’m able to work in team, also with people with different background, and in stress workplace, always delivering best on time solutions.
