About Rita Kahn

I have been fortunate to attain broad experience throughout my career and develop a diverse set of marketing and development skills.I worked in large corporations including Whirlpool, KitchenAid and Synovate in marketing and innovation consulting positions. Most recently, I served as an on-site consultant at Allstate world headquarters during my employment at Synovate and provided consultation on implementation of a Customer Loyalty strategy. My consulting services including planning, designing and conducting qualitative customer research, integrating findings with other customer data/insight, and facilitating innovation workshops with stakeholders to invent and plan customer-driven product and service innovations. I am currently Executive Director of Chicago HOPES for Kids, a non profit organization providing after school and parent programming at ten transitional housing shelters throughout Chicago. Our focus is on providing homework assistance, literacy support and academic and cultural enrichment to children experiencing homelessness. The vision of our organization is to work collaboratively to break the cycle of homelessness that threatens the futures of so many children in Chicago.
