About Rita Lousa

Hej! I’m Rita Lousa, a graduate in Corporate Innovation (MSc) and Design (MA), working as Corporate Affairs Manager - Stakeholder Relations and Partnerships at Tetra Pak. I am experienced in working with Design Thinking and Service Innovation in medium-large corporations, from a wide range of industries, having previously worked with Subnero (Transportation, Robotics), Sonae - Worten (Retail leader), Bonnier News (Media), Merck (Healthcare, Life Sciences), Tetra Pak (Engineering, Food and Packaging). I graduated from the Leadership Future Talent Programme at Tetra Pak in 2021. A 2 year programme aimed at creating future leaders, with extensive knowledge of the company on a global scale. During this programme, I worked in several rotations and side projects. Mainly I worked with Corporate Innovation in all its forms, having started and developed an employee-driven framework for innovation combined with Kickbox, supported open innovation processes with startups, worked with talent development for sales of new services, designed a program for prototyping new food products, and created and co-facilitated a summer task force of university students and graduates solving an innovation challenge inside Tetra Pak. I also been part of co-driving our participation as Tetra Pak in the UN Food Systems Summit Game Changers Lab under the cohort Enabling Accessible and Affordable Nutrition. Currently I work within Corporate Affairs building the bridges between Policy, Innovation and Sustainability, by connecting Tetra Pak with the external ecosystem. We are on the journey to transform food systems, and together with meaningful partnerships are driving positive change. My main focus is to learn and build a strong network, having a special interest in Future of Food, Sustainability, Change Management, Development of a Learning Culture, Open Innovation, Circular Economy and Design Workshops Facilitation. Outside of work I am a member at two youth organizations: Global Shapers Malmö and YOUNGO Food and Agriculture workgroup, where I collaborate with like-minded young leaders on local impact projects. I aim to use my unique creativity to foster fairness and innovate for global impact.
