About Rita Ostan

Biomedical Researcher with over 15 years of experience in clinical nutrition, aging science and oncology. I earned my PhD in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Bologna and have coauthored more than 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications, accumulating over 6,500 citations (H-index 37). My research has been deeply rooted in European collaborative projects such as NU-AGE, HUMAN, RISTOMED, and MYOAGE, focusing on nutrition, inflammation and biomarkers of longevity. Currently, I work as a researcher at Fondazione ANT Franco Pannuti ETS, where I coordinate and contribute to studies on home palliative care, telemedicine and quality of life interventions for cancer patients. Driven by precision, organizational and collaborative spirit, I am an expert in clinical trial design, including the preparation and submission of study proposals to Ethics Committees. I also lead biomedical data analysis, and I am experienced in drafting and publishing scientific articles in international journals.
