Rita Pfeiffer, M.S, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who primarily serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with complex communication needs. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is licensed to practice through the Tennessee Department of Health and the Tennessee Department of Education. Rita earned her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, with a minor in Music, from Middlebury College. Her training provided a background in research that primarily focused on the translation between evidence-based practices and community engagement. She seeks to provide holistic, person-centered care by collaborating with the client's community in meeting the client's present and future needs. Rita is also a passionate musician, and as a multi-instrumentalist, she performs with, records for, and collaborates on arrangements with independent Nashville musicians.
