About Ritchie Perry

With over 34 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, I am a passionate and driven optimization manager operation at Armour Transportation Systems, a leading provider of integrated transportation solutions in Canada. I have a CITT-certified logistics professional credential and a deep expertise in lean process and culture, which enable me to deliver optimal business results and promote employee development. My mission is to support the VP of operations, lead projects and review processes, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation across all areas of operations. I value teamwork, collaboration, and customer satisfaction, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization. In my current role, I have successfully led and implemented several initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations, such as reviewing and analyzing LTL lanes, improving technology by vetting and rolling out the Omnitracs One final mile delivery software and hardware, and supporting process flow across multi-department initiatives. I have also leveraged my skills in warehouse management, ocean, and operations management to set up a new logistics operation for Armour Logistics in Ontario, which outgrew its initial facility within the first year. I am always eager to learn new skills, take on new challenges, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
