I help people find solutions. I fell into tech, unsure if it was for me, and if I had the skills to be successful. However, the same thing that motivated my early jobs, continues to motivate me today – I love creating solutions and helping people.I’ve been in customer service for 15 years and my experience has been nothing short of diverse – from making subs, to being a security guard, to working at a library, to finally end up working as a consultant in the product space; being able to help clients create or optimize products and platforms to help their users or customers. My career journey has been varied and has led me to a career that is no doubt, a natural fit. I’ve been involved in working with products from every angle – design, testing, deployment – across both public and private sectors. With a passion for solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions, I have 6+ years of experience as a consultant, specializing in product development, agile delivery, and knowledge management. I hold a MIS in Knowledge & Information Management from the University of Toronto, as well as certifications from Scrum Alliance & Scaled Agile. Currently, I offer professional services as a Product Delivery Consultant, leading and supporting cross-functional teams in product development. Some of my recent achievements include:Helping build and optimize both in house and vendor driven data products at Loblaws Technology & Analytics by refining and guiding Scrum delivery practices. Launching corporate metadata and data management products at CIHI using a Lean approach. Supporting large agile transformations across the federal government with Deloitte. Launching a national knowledge management campaign at Deloitte to capture high priority knowledge artifacts & experience. When I join a team you can count on me to get into the details with you, gathering requirements, building backlogs & user-stories, working across team members and stakeholders to ensure we never lose sight of the value we’re trying to deliver.
