About Rithvik Agastya

I’m a rising senior at UC Berkeley studying Business, Economics, and Theater. Having grown up in the theater, I tend to lean on my experience as an actor to inform much of my thinking and decision-making. My passion for improv-style theater, for example, has helped me hone my creativity and spontaneity in high-pressure situations. While theater has brought me so much happiness and taught me many transferable life lessons, I decided to explore my creativity in other ways once I arrived at Berkeley. Having seen my parents help build a successful theater company from the ground up, I was inspired to learn more about the world of entrepreneurship and interned at several companies ranging from robotic coffee shops to private equity funds. Although every internship was challenging, I really enjoyed the opportunity to solve so many different types of problems across a diverse range of industries. This passion for solving problems brought me to Venture Strategy Solutions, a startup consulting club on campus. My experience with Venture was one of the best experiences I have had in my short career, and it launched me to take three consulting-based classes at school. To me, there’s nothing better than being in a fast-paced environment where I am pushed to grow quickly, do impactful work, and learn from the people around me. That’s why I’m so excited to be joining Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant in 2024 after completing an awesome summer as an Associate Consultant Intern this past summer.
