About Ritu Dhupar

A former Registered Nurse with extensive experience in inpatient, outpatient, and clinical trial settings specializing in oncology. Following my transition from nursing, I have served as the Office Manager at BTI Brand Innovations, where I bring my healthcare background, organizational skills, and passion for wellness to the corporate environment. My dedication to health promotion, combined with my enthusiasm for exercise and nutrition, has led me to develop and offer Yin Yoga sessions for our team, other businesses, and community groups. I am a certified yoga instructor, having completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program in July 2020, followed by a 20-hour Yin Yoga certification in January 2021. I am registered as a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, with a focus on Yin Yoga practice. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a deep love for travel, literature, film, live theatre, basketball, and pickleball. I embrace new adventures, which have included skydiving and hang gliding. In June 2022, I launched a blog to share insights and experiences from my perspective as part of a South Asian family with a queer-identifying son, aiming to foster understanding and support within the broader community.
