I graduated with distinction and was awarded a Gold Medal for my outstanding academic performance. I also received the “Creativity & Innovation” award from my faculty. I have completed a Certificate course in Happiness Management from HarvardX (Harvard University).I hold a Diploma in Shinrin Yoku with distinction from Center of Excellence, UK.I work with people from diverse cultures, across all age groups -helping them explore, process, and express emotions that are often difficult to articulate in words, through art and creativity.I offer individual and group art therapy sessions, both in-person and virtual, creating non-judgmental, safe and supportive spaces for mental and emotional well-being.I integrate art therapy with mindfulness techniques and contemplative practices that promote self-discovery, support emotional regulation, stress management and resilience.My published work, “Indigenous Gond Art in Art Therapy: A Nature-based Creative Process,” reflects my deep interest in integrating Indian Indigenous and folk art into therapeutic work. https://doi.org/10.1080/07421656.2024.2356969As a certified Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) guide, I weave nature-based practices in art therapy sessions. Growing up in an environment surrounded by nature, and the appreciation of all things local, I follow the principles of sustainability in my artistic practice. I also use natural pigments to create art and actively engage in environmental education, outdoor well-being activities, that strengthen our connection to nature.I collaborate with schools, NGOs, and other wellness platforms to address mental health, emotional well-being, and social-emotional learning.In the corporate realm, I partner with organizations to design and facilitate employee wellness programs/workshops that promote a psychologically safe environment through art and creativity.
