About Ritu Dubey

With a steadfast commitment to educational excellence, my role as an IB Authorization Chair, IB Consultant, and IB Evaluation Chair at the International Baccalaureate allows me to apply my expertise in leading complex educational systems and nurturing global citizens. Since 2007, my journey with IB has focused on blending inquiry-based learning with the development of critical thinking, shaping the pedagogical landscape to empower young minds. I have also had the privilege of contributing to international education through my roles with the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) as a visiting team member for school accreditation and evaluation purposes. At the heart of my work is collaboration with educators to enhance curricula, mentor new teachers, and lead professional development initiatives. My experience in facilitating Theory of Knowledge (TOK), overseeing the Personal Project in the MYP, and advising Model United Nations reflects my dedication to fostering international-mindedness and advancing cognitive skill development in the education sector. As the founding Head of an IB World School in Delhi NCR, I focus on fostering inquiry-based learning and conceptual understanding. Certified in four IB roles—Authorization Consultant, Team Leader, Team Member, and Evaluation Leader—I contribute to global education as part of CIS and NEASC accreditation teams. With over 20 years of experience, my IB journey since 2007 has been transformative. I’ve led Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS) initiatives, facilitated Theory of Knowledge (TOK) sessions, and supervised Personal Projects, while guiding students at international Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. In essence, my career has been a journey of growth, learning, and transformation. I am deeply committed to the IB philosophy and the holistic development of students. Education is about more than academic success; it’s about fostering compassionate, curious global citizens ready to make a positive impact. I strive to inspire students and educators to embrace education’s power to transform lives and communities.
