About Rivo Sarapik

Two decades in journalism has given me necessary skills for life - to be curious, ask questions, to alweys be eager to learn, adapt, tell stories, to enjoy public performance, importance of storytelling and has guided me to taking care of my mental health (instead of stress tolerance i develop stress management. Besides journalism ultra endurance sports (distances/events lasting days or even weeks) has taught a lot about myself. For example that nothing is impossible, the success lies in the mind, obstacle is the way, you need to work (sometimes suffer) for a result, no pain - no gain, improvement requires hard work, optimism pays off etc. It has also given me grit, taught me about big picture and perspective (good and lasting things take time). Voluntary work has been a part of my career and life as well. Sharing time, energy, willpower and ideas has given a lot back - i share them because i can. It's possible to get big things done only together. Being a volunteer has taught me basic video editing skills to use, it has taken me around the globe and has given me a better perspective of life in Estonia.
