About Riya Arora

I'm the type of person who gets genuinely excited about untangling messy business problems—the more complex, the better. Give me a spreadsheet full of data anomalies or a market strategy puzzle, and I'm in my element. Currently studying Finance and Strategy & Consulting at Babson College, where I've discovered my superpower: turning ambiguous business challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps that actually work. What I've been up to: Leading consulting projects across multiple countries, analyzing massive markets and uncovering hidden opportunities Building AI-powered solutions and forecasting models that drive real cost savings and operational improvements Managing cross-functional teams and securing funding through strategic partnerships The weird truth about me: I genuinely love solving puzzles—whether it's cracking a financial model, optimizing operations, or figuring out why a startup isn't scaling. I'm that person who does the New York Times crossword for fun and gets way too invested in logic problems. My brain works best at the intersection of strategy, finance, and technology. I thrive on those "aha!" moments when a deep-dive into data reveals the story and strategy becomes crystal clear. Random but relevant: I'm a 2x national silver medalist in figure skating, which taught me that precision, persistence, and performing under pressure are transferable skills. I'm also fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese (comes in handy for international consulting), and I have this habit of turning side projects into real ventures—apparently I can't just have normal hobbies. Looking to connect with fellow problem-solvers, strategists, and anyone who gets as excited about business transformation as I do- Want to connect? → drop me a DM → email at riyagreyarora@gmail.com
