Hi, I’m Riya (she/her) a recent graduate with an Honours degree in Business Administration from Trent University, where I focused on Marketing & Consumer Culture and minored in Economics. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, I completed my schooling at Indian Language School before relocating to Canada for university. Over the past few years, I’ve held multifaceted roles across marketing, communications, and community planning—building a solid foundation in decisive planning, community outreach, and brand storytelling. From co-directing Trent’s largest hackathon comeback (HackTrent) after 5 years, to coordinating cross-campus events that drew over 700+ attendees, my journey has been defined by results-driven initiatives and immersive collaboration. Whether I’m providing guidance on digital campaigns, spearheading grassroots outreach, or managing behind-the-scenes logistics for national partners, I thrive on executing and bringing imaginative ideas to life.
