About Riya Patil

My passion for technology, combined with the desire to improve processes and solve problems, fuels my interest in automation. As a Consultant at PwC, I work with private equity firms to help them automate manual processes and reporting. Prior to PwC, I interned at Siemens during my time at the University of Michigan (go blue!) where I pursued both a Ross BBA and computer science minor. Beyond business and technology, I am also very passionate about education and growth. At PwC, I started an Industry News initiative to help Associates (including myself) learn more about trends and current events in the Alternative Assets space. At the University of Michigan, I volunteered to teach students at Detroit Public Schools how to code, allowing me to share my passion for technology with others. I've also raised money to provide meals for underprivileged students in India and taught CAD software at local schools during my Siemens internship.
