About Rizwan Pasha

Rizwan Pasha started his career with a passion to solve environmental problems. With an internship from Aspartika Biotech, he worked with different types wastes to convert to value added products. He received various grants in waste to wealth sector. Taking this experience forward he joined social sector to work with youngsters to activate their 21st Century public problem solving skills. He has mentored more than students from all the backgrounds across multiple cities. At his role in the social sector, he gained skills in program management, people management, problem solving, networking, volunteer management and building smart solutions. He also worked with Climate change groups to create awareness and take action against climate change. He is mentoring students from the Solve Ninja Accelerator program by Reap Benefit, Solutioneer team on sustainability from Green Light Solutions, college students from Sit MVIT E-Cell and Innovation Cell. With keen interest in sustainable development goals and climate change, he is working towards building better solutions and creating sustainable food products to combat nutrition deficiency in animals using insect Protein in animal feed (Farm, Pet and Exotic) and Alleviating poverty by providing income generation opportunities for silk reeling farmers. He is also working towards developing business for healthy, gluten free, dairy free, diabetic friendly millet based foods with high shelf life to combat Zero hunger and food wastage. These high shelf life foods help in addressing food requirements during climate change events as well as remote locations which cannot get access to food regularly. He is working towards building a collective with experienced experts, entrepreneurs and mentors who can work on problems faced in the food systems sector at a global scale at Scoby- Collective.
