About Roar Tomassen

My background is mainly from leadership positions in marketing and sales of products and services within the media and pharmaceutical industries. This includes the process from new product launches, and established products and services. Leadership, coaching and motivation of my reports is motivating myself as well. Meeting and co-creating with our customers is a must to ensure good and workable solutions for our customers. I also like to "think outside the box"​ in finding new and exciting solutions. At Aqualife Services, my job is to deliver top quality hand vaccination services to producers of salmon, trout and cleanerfish. Our customers (and Aqualife) expects high standards in fish welfare, careful handling of fish and correct execution of the job. Timing is everything in order to satisfy the value chain in timely delivery all the way to the final customers who enjoy the preferred food products developed by our fantastic aquaculture industry. It is very pleasing to continually developing our services which will, in time, also include fish health services and robotics solutions for vaccination of fish in order to further provide perfect logistical and quality services to our customers. The vaccine industry is continually changing with different vaccines and methods of delivery. Aqualife is pleased to announce that we are a preferred partner of Elanco Animal Health in delivering the new DNA PD vaccine which is delivered intramuscularly. We also have good cooperation with Pharmaq in delivery of 2-3 vaccines in one injection. We are continually working on quality systems to ensure delivery according to customer needs/requirements as well as GlobalG.A.P reguirements. We are currently finishing work which will be crowned with a "GlobalGAP Declaration of Conformity" audited by DNV GL.
