About Rob Bakker

As Senior Manager of Production at IGM Financial (parent company for IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments), I oversee the day-to-day operations of our internal creative agency. This includes people and resource management, process enhancement, project management and delivery across all marketing channels, quality assurance on brand consistency and fostering a positive and productive environment for my team and our clients. For over 20 years, I have been sharpening my skills and pursuing my passion for music as an independent producer, songwriter, and audio engineer, working with talented artists, labels and publishers from Canada and around the world. I have also founded and led my own creative consulting company, leveraging my experience in grant-writing, video production, and content creation and curation. Through these diverse experiences, I have developed strong skills in production process, people development and management, collaboration, and communication, as well as a deep appreciation for compelling content and storytelling.
