I have just finished working with The Brick as part of their store leadership team, I started with The Brick in 2015 as a warehouse associate and have moved up from there to Operations supervisor, operations manager and finally to General store manager. before starting with The Brick I was employed with the Irving corporation. I was employed as a Material Handler, shipper/reciever. I would operate various forklifts and lift trucks, bringing material into the warehouse and to the production flood as needed, and loading the finished products into trailers for delivery. I worked with amazing colleagues that made getting the job done fun and exciting. Prior to Irving I worked with LKQ in Winnipeg for 10 years. Starting as a delivery driver doing deliveries to customers. My strong work ethic moved me from delivery driver to order picker and quality control to shipper and receiver and finally to Dispatch supervisor, while still doing portions of the previous jobs as needed. I am truly passionate about my work, and while i enjoy all parts of the career path, I enjoy meeting new staff and working with them to be a crucial member of a successful company.
