I am a senior executive with over 20 years of experience driving transformation, operational excellence, and strategic growth across Japan’s insurance and financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer of RGA Japan, I lead enterprise execution, business optimization, and cross-functional alignment within one of the world’s leading life and health reinsurers. My leadership journey spans both global insurers and fintech-driven platforms, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry. At NN Life Japan, I served as CTO during a period of deep enterprise transformation—modernizing our architecture, operating model, and digital engagement. This work strengthened strategic agility, improved customer experience, and delivered lasting operational impact. I later took on the challenge of launching FNZ in Japan, where I was responsible for defining market entry strategy, engaging with regulators and stakeholders, and building the foundation for future operations. While execution remained in early phases, the experience sharpened my strategic lens and deepened my insight into Japan’s wealth and asset management ecosystem. Fluent in both Japanese and English, I bring a rare combination of cultural fluency, technical insight, and operational leadership.
