About Rob Biesendorfer

Mr. Biesendorfer looks forward once again to the blessings and challenges of leading in a Lutheran School. He is very excited about the upcoming school year, and has a desire to move Atonement Lutheran School to new levels of student success. Atonement Lutheran School has a rich history serving the North County area. He has thoroughly enjoyed serving in the field of education as teacher, athletic director and principal for over 30 years. He led the efforts to grow a local PS - 8 school to over 350 students in 9 years. Messiah Lutheran School was recently awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award. Mr. Biesendorfer experiences has led him to Illinois, California and now Missouri. He served on the Southern California Educational Cabinet, and was previously selected as Emerson Electric Teacher of the Year. Rob and his wife, Lyn, a middle school Language Arts teacher have enjoyed living in Chicago and Los Angeles, but now love calling St. Louis home. Converted to Cardinal Nation from Wrigleyville, Rob loves watching baseball and most any sport he can. Rob and Lyn have two children. His daughter, Julee, serves on the Human Resource team for a local company, and their son, Tim, lives in Seattle serving as a Physical Therapist assistant. A great day for Rob includes a combination of running, gardening and taking in a movie.
