About Rob Bisceglie

I’ve spent my career helping organizations strengthen, communities become healthier, and schools build the systems kids need to thrive. Since 2008, I’ve served as CEO of Action for Healthy Kids, leading the organization through transformative growth. Today, AFHK is the largest network of its kind, reaching over 20 million kids in schools, supported by more than volunteers and champions. We work with districts to build sustainable systems for whole child health—because healthier students are stronger learners, and stronger learners shape stronger communities. My path to this role started long before I joined AFHK. I’ve spent over 20 years in nonprofit leadership, global development, and public service. I’ve led initiatives in over 40 countries, overseen significant public-private partnerships, and held senior roles in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. I’ve also served locally on school boards and health coalitions because I believe real leadership starts where you live. I’m a dad of three, a passionate home cook, and a lifelong runner.
