I’m a Manager / Scientist with a strong foundation of laboratory and product development experience. I’m a continuous learner who enjoys developing and leading team members. I’m an Engineer / Chemist with a reputation for exceeding expectations and creative problem solving. I’m a communicator with a history of effective collaboration with Operations, Management, Customers, Applications, Sales, Service, and Quality in both R&D and Manufacturing environments.I have a diverse background including analytical instrumentation, automotive & thin film coatings, glass, automotive replacement parts, food equipment, home and plumbing products. I’m well versed in statistics which I’ve consistently utilized to continuously improve my understanding and optimize analytical, environmental, and durability testing. I’ve regularly been involved in developing, implementing, and auditing ISO 9001 and 17025 quality systems. I developed and implemented all hardware, software, and SOP modifications needed for a unified standardization approach improving agreement of all plant QC spectrometers by 80%. This saved $500k per year, per NA facility through decreased workload and product changeover times. I also completed scale up of the automotive team to eliminate a 6+ month backlog, increasing on-time percentage from 90% within the first 5 months, leading to NSF 2017 Team of the Year award.I’m passionate for creating processes that generate efficient, reliable data for the company to make informed decisions and improve product quality. I’m looking for a Manager (QA/QC or R&D) role where I can leverage my experiences or a Plant/R&D (Scientist/Engineer/Chemist) role where I can utilize my expertise in identifying new processes and optimizing existing processes and production.
