About Rob Cant

After a career spanning nearly two decades as an international M&A lawyer, Rob retired from his position as a Partner at Freshfields, to co-found SingleSource Technologies ("SiSo") with a focus on building AI-powered technology solutions for the M&A industry. SingleSource Technologies is the company behind the SiSo Suite, comprised of customizable, integrated AI-powered software solutions. Built for M&A. The SiSo Suite includes: SiSo Pipeline, SiSo Diligence, and SiSo Budget Tracker, alongside which it offers technology advisory and custom M&A-related software development solutions. Rob regularly speaks about how technology can improve critical aspects of the M&A process, including value creation and risk management, and is an investor in, and special advisor to, a number of companies, including several in the technology and legaltech space. Prior to his retirement as a lawyer, Rob covered the breadth of M&A and investments, with a particular focus on advising large corporates, financial sponsors, including private equity investors, sovereign wealth funds, government related entities, alternative investment managers and their investee companies. He also served as the General Counsel of an English Premier League football club, advising on all aspects of the club's business, including corporate finance, corporate governance, commercial agreements and player contracts and transfers. As an M&A lawyer, Rob was consistently recognised for his work by all of the leading international legal directories. Rob now holds a number of international board and advisory positions across industries, including technology, banking and sports marketing.
