About Rob Collins

With a few decades of experience in the Marketing industry, I've worn a lot of different hats. Graphic Design, Ecommerce and Digital Marketing have always fit well. It's such an analytical business when reading through the data, discovering the who, what, where and why customers arrived onto your website, and how they interacted it. It's also creative when researching and developing SEO and digital marketing campaigns to encourage customers to visit the online business and/or brick & mortar locations. If the plan requires an update or improvement, being able to read the data and tweak the campaign on-the-fly for improved results is mad-scientist stuff. I'm always researching new marketing and technology trends, and jumping into the deep-end of the pool to figure them out. If they show a potential benefit to the company, I may recommend using the new product or channel. I don't recommend emerging technology simply for technology's sake, or run towards any new marketing channels because they are trendy. It has to make sense for the company's target market and their ROI. As a leader, I keep it simple. Lead by example, mentor when needed, and treat people with the same respect as I would prefer to be treated myself. Egos are checked at the door. When not up to my elbows in Graphic Design, Ecommerce, SEO and/or Digital Marketing, I can usually be found hiking the trails of the Greater Vancouver BC region. I'm a hardcore Canucks fan, and an unapologetic coffee snob. Life is too short for a bad cup of coffee.
