Rob is an experienced programme, change, and commercial leader with diverse experience across the private and public sectors, from both client and service provider perspectives - working with clients ranging from SME’s to large corporates and a range of public sector organisations - he has been responsible for the success of programmes and procurements ranging from £25k to £250m in value. Driven by achieving excellence in customer services and quality with a strong focus on delivering positive outcomes – he has been responsible for the successful negotiation and completion of some of the UK’s most innovative technology service contracts. Over 19 years of experience in change and delivery programmes across a wide variety of markets including Healthcare, Education, Local Authorities and Central Government. Specific expertise includes- Leading independent reviews on specific aspects of IT effectiveness within Local Government functions including strategy, SLA’s, e-maturity, contractual, and financial arrangements- Re-engineering current IT support organisations/structures/budgets and reconfiguring service delivery functions to better align to the changing objectives within the public and private sectors- Creating effective procurement strategies and associated processes to ensure positive outcomes for the commissioners of change or technology led contracts. Ensuring performance and contracting protection for the client and end-user community over often prolonged contract periods- Deal close across technical, commercial, and financial aspects to ensure appropriate benchmarking, financial modelling, performance regimes and payment mechanisms- Acting in an independent assurance role over all aspects of effective technology service delivery including benefits realisation, reduction/maximisation of assets, and performance/service benchmarking- Providing programme design and project assurance for complex change and technology led initiatives.
