About Rob Day

After completing my degree and PGCE in Secondary Education, I spent a year in Zambia, Africa working for charity Sport In Action as an Outreach Manager. This an amazing experience helping the charity further their partnerships with Global Charities, National partnerships and local charities. The work was exciting and varied spending some days on the ground working in compounds with the charities volunteer coaches and educators to meeting with government officials and developing national strategies for sport. On returning to the Uk I returned to education and worked for 10 years as a PE teacher at Dixons City Academy, one of the top performing schools in Bradford and the country. After 3 years I received a promotion to Head of Year. A role involving a multitude of skills such as, managing student progression, attendance, punctuality, behaviour, pastoral support, the integral part of home school communication and relationships. At the beginning of 2020 I began work at Life Church, Bradford as the Business and Operations Assistant Manger. In January 2023 I had a slight change in role becoming the Business Manager leading the businesses at the church including Life Centre Events.
