About Rob Deol

Having worked within the Financial, Pharmaceutical, and Technology industries, I have learned that while these industries look quite different from the outside, similarities abound everywhere. These careers have allowed me to develop a wide range of skills that not only meet but exceed expectations. I have found that the keys to success in sales in each of these industries has been through a commitment to relationship building, customer service, consultative selling, providing value-added services, being able to identify opportunities, creating customer buy-in and as simple as it sounds just being out in the field on a daily basis. My commitment to personal and professional excellence is also what separates me from others. In having worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry, I have worked in Virology, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology. Not only was I responsible for promoting these medications and medical devices to gain market share and exceed targets, I was also responsible for developing Key Opinion Leaders and Specialists in their respective fields, organizing education events, installing support nurses into GP practices, developing Nurse Educators as well as working with Hospital Formularies and Provincial Pharmacare employees. My time in Banking has given me experience in Investments, Mortgages and Lending. The successes that I had were built through expanding my book of business through exceptional customer service, networking, increasing my circle of influence and also through cold-calling. This is where I learned how to work cross-functionally with my customers and co-workers in different departments, realtors, lawyers, estate and financial planners to achieve my customers end goals. I learned the ins and outs of Personal Lending, Mortgages, Investments such as Mutual Funds, Stocks, ETF's, Flow-Through shares etc, as well as Life Insurance.
