About Rob Drasin

I am an internal communications professional with an extensive background in technology sales to global and domestic organizations. I have worked with established technology companies as well as early-stage and startup organizations, leading their growth and establishing new markets. I provided the sales and guidance that helped a IC toolkit startup become a worldwide category leader. My broad base of experience in all communications media has added to my ability to understand client challenges and provide solutions that meet their objectives. Among my technology clients: Manulife/ John Hancock, Novartis, GE Aviation, Ally Financial, HP, NY Presbyterian, Eaton Vance, NJ DEP, Capital Blue Cross, Freddie Mac, Norwegian Cruise Lines, US Army, Main Line Health and CitiMD. For 16 years I led Trident Communications LLC. Trident was a full-service internal communications agency, providing content, design, print, video, collateral and digital tools to organizations of every size in every sector. Among my internal communications clients: Accenture, ESPN, Bayer, United Technologies, Merck, Conoco Phillips, BAYADA Home Healthcare, National Grid and BP. Now, it was time for a new challenge. I've always embraced new technology and ideas, and have been thinking about my next new challenge for awhile. Today, I'm very pleased to say that I've joined Invonto, a digital consultancy that has been helping companies with digital transformation for the past 12 years. The companys focuses on: mobile app development, web app development, VR, AR, machine learning and artificial intelligence. In support of the IC community I have served two terms as the President of the New York Chapter of the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) and have held multiple Board positions over ten years. I have been quoted on business communication in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Harvard Business Review, Ragan Communications and SHRM. I also conduct workshops and have been invited to speak at communications conferences across the US.
