About Rob Duff

27 Years experience in the HVAC industry. Before coming to Napoleon I spent 18 years in the field working as a Gas Technician and Sheet Metal Worker. My career has given me the opportunity to work on large commercial projects as well as the residential installation and service sector. While in the field I managed groups of installers working together to complete small jobs on a daily basis, as well as Large jobs spanning months at a time. My current role has me managing the installation and service team, the warehouse staff staff material handlers, as well as the administration staff that support them. My duties include: Reviewing P&L reports, measuring and costing of institutions, monitoring stock levels of parts, and materials. I work closely with the sales staff to assist with any technical question to help them succeed in their role. Gathering information from the field involving products with issues, and communicating this information to R&D to help make product improvements, and find the root cause to the issues. I am also responsible for scheduling training for both teams. Tracking trends with quality issues in the field to report to the R&D and Quality dept. Diagnose problems reported in the field using root cause analysis to determine root cause and educate technicians in the field how to correct faulty installations. Complete one on ones with direct reports to ensure they have all of the tools they need to be successful.
