About Rob Elkins

I have over 15 years’ experience of working in the social sector and of delivering high quality services. This has been predominantly working with young people and vulnerable adults and includes six years working within the homelessness and housing sector. I am currently adjusting to life in Local Government, in an exciting role championing the strategic engagement and participation of children, young people and families. Having successfully delivered in various roles, from frontline customer support through to youth worker, project leadership role and operational and strategic management, I have experience of working with a wide range of people and have developed the skills needed to be successful in a wide range of settings and to navigate complex challenges. I am very values driven, passionate about raising aspirations, participatory approaches to work, embracing a coaching and growth culture and have an unwavering commitment to genuine equality of opportunity and excellence for all.
