Rob is a corporate M&A lawyer with 30+ years of experience advising on corporate transactions. Having successfully started and grown his own law firm back in 2002 (Faasen & Partners), the firm was merged into a leading international law firm, Eversheds Sutherland (Netherlands), where he worked as Senior Partner for many years. In September 2020, Rob joined Risk Capital Advisors (RCA), innovative experts in all aspects of M&A insurance, as the Director of the new Amsterdam office. This adds decades of legal and entrepreneurial experience to the RCA team. Rob sees the growth potential in M&A insurance, linked to the distinct advantages for clients, as well as legal advisory teams. His presence on the ground in the Netherlands, will help deliver best-in-class and tailored service, to both local and global clients.
