Employment Law: • Litigate and defend against claims concerning discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate and wage/hour under federal, state and local law. • Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including employment, separation, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements. • Counsel clients in connection with employer record keeping requirements and minimum wage/overtime laws pursuant to the FLSA and related state and local laws. • Analyze employment related regulations and opinions, including with respect to terminations, disciplinary matters and disability leave. • Draft employee handbooks. Construction Law: • Represent owners, developers and contractors in connection with large-scale litigation and dispute resolution involving, among other things, surety related issues, delay claims, lien foreclosures and license agreements. • Draft and negotiate construction related agreements, including construction management, architect and licensing agreements. Corporate/Transactional: • Draft and negotiate various agreements, including software licensing, asset purchase and stock purchase agreements. • Counsel for-profit and not-for-profit clients concerning corporate governance matters. • Draft by-laws and operating agreements.
