Providing a key role by looking up and ordering complex items for our own Machines in the Plant Department using various online systems. Receipting in of goods and raising discrepancies and Warranty issues Being pro-active when parts are needed urgently, limiting machine downtime. Working with a group of Engineers to ensure right parts are ordered first time. Making sure all machinery is serviced in a timely manner, by working off the hours and ordering the correct kit. Creating good relationships with suppliers to ensure a first class service. Other duties include populating the internal system with Machine hours collected from various in-house sites and/or tracking systems, to keep these up to date. Keeping a record of expenditure for parts and servicing costs and making sure they are allocated to the correct area of the business. Approving invoices for payment.
