About Rob Giesen

I am an enthusiastic professional, who has been working with all kinds of Microsoft products for several decades with a focus on the SharePoint platform and in recent years also with Office 365. I used to work as a functional administrator for the District Court in Arnhem, where I became acquainted with the ins and outs of the judiciary. In addition to several court-specific applications, I worked with SharePoint 2010/2013. After a few years I was looking for a bigger challenge and found it at Spirit as an application manager. After a short period I got the chance to work as a SharePoint 2013 Administrator/Developer. I enjoyed working in this position for many years, until I got the chance to work as a Developer at the international law firm Banning. At Banning, I started working as an ICT Developer with the task of office innovation and development, using SharePoint Online and 0365 as platforms. After my work there was completed, I started working at the IT company Oxineo as a SharePoint / Office 365 Consultant. In this role I worked closely and on a project basis with our customers, through intensive contact I brought the actual customer demands to the surface and translated those into a SharePoint or 0365 solution. I actively keep my knowledge up to date by following various blogs, Webinars and knowledge sessions. I am now combining my IT knowledge / People Skills & my knowledge of the Poultry Sector and together with a great team to manage and successfully carry out Poultry customer projects from A to Z.
