About Rob Gottscheu

I have 27 years of Supervisory experience in 7 manufacturing facilities, 12 of those years in a union environment. I have experience with Joint Health and Safety Committee functions with WSIB Certification Level 1. I am proficient with the use of MP2, MaintainItPro and MaintainIt CMMS and their applications as it applies to P.M. Tasks, Work Orders, Purchasing and Reporting. I have extensive experience with SQF, GMPs, HACCP, CCP, ISO14001, IATF 16949 (Transition from ISO 9001:2015) and the quality system. Along with those standards I have experience with Lean Manufacturing, JIT Delivery, Continuous Improvement Teams and Cost Reduction projects. I also have Project Management experience with capital projects. I have a Servant Leadership style in which I support those I work with and provide the tools necessary for them to succeed. As for my technical background, it came from being a licensed, Red Seal Endorsed Industrial Millwright. I have over 12 years of hands-on plant maintenance experience in the Food industry and 12 years in the Automotive industry. Along with a very strong mechanical background, I excel in electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including PLC hardware, motor controls and electrical installations. I was also responsible for maintaining and repairing all plant and building equipment systems. These include Rotary Screw air compressors, Refrigerated Air Driers, Waste Water Treatment systems, Low Volume Boilers, along with all associated production and building equipment. I’ve been involved with the commissioning of new plants and systems and played a key role in de-bugging equipment issues.
