Applying sound judgement as strategic advisor to CEOs and Boards, I help organisations achieve their goals through exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication. With deep experience in high profile, complex environments - often where the lives of millions of people can be affected on a daily basis - I equip organisations with first class strategic communications based on in-depth research and actionable insight. By building trusted relationships and creating influential campaigns that cut through to support commercial growth, it is possible to make an authentic, powerful difference. I am particularly passionate about finding a clear and compelling voice for organisations that improve the lives of people through inspirational, significant work. My career so far has helped serve UK energy security, boost global connectivity through aviation, combat fuel poverty, showcase first-of-a-kind projects in a clean energy transition, build community support for nationally significant infrastructure and create educational programmes for people less fortunate than most. In that time, I have enjoyed working with myriad stakeholders including governments, devolved administrations, Ministers, politicians, civil servants, investors, statutory bodies, local authorities, unions, community and faith leaders, schools, charities, residents, consumers and colleagues. Nothing can be achieved alone. It is important for me to be able to lead, develop and work with highly talented, diverse teams, creating a unique sense of belonging and shared purpose. And of course, continue to learn from others at whatever stage of our careers. Specialist areas where I have achieved success alongside various brilliant people include communications, government relations, policy, corporate campaigns, crisis management, stakeholder engagement and ESG. Previously I have worked in a number of roles including Chief of Staff, Director, Deputy Chief Executive, Campaigns Director and Editor.
