About Rob Green

I was born and raised in England in a mixed-race family, which gave me an early appreciation for different perspectives and the ability to adapt to new surroundings. From my mum, who came from a modest Asian background, I learned the values of hard work, determination, and family. From my dad, an accountant from the UK, I inherited resilience, professionalism, and the importance of carrying yourself with integrity. Those lessons have shaped not only who I am but also how I approach my career. Now settled in Sydney, I’ve built my professional path in finance, following in my father’s footsteps but in a very different era. Today, finance is about much more than reporting numbers. My career as a Senior Finance Manager has been defined by business partnering, financial analysis, and providing forward-looking insights that help leaders make better decisions. I enjoy challenging assumptions, understanding how a business truly works, and translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies. I value the simple things, manners, punctuality, fairness, common sense, and I bring those into my professional life as much as my personal one. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on the football (or soccer depending on where you are in the world) pitch or at the gym, keeping a healthy body and mind so I can perform at my best.
