About Rob Halls

I am an experienced educational leader, adviser and inspector with a track record of success in school improvement and strategic leadership. Passionate about effective partnerships, I believe they empower school leaders to thrive, foster an environment where great ideas flourish, and both pupils and adults succeed. As a School Effectiveness Partner in the school effectiveness team at Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust (ODBST), I bring over 20 years’ senior leadership experience in schools across the primary phase. This culminated in 10 years as a Headteacher and subsequently as Executive Headteacher of Castle Church of England Federation. Alongside my role with ODBST, I am a serving a S48 SIAMS Inspector with the Church of England Education Office, a consultant School Effectiveness Adviser with HFL Education, and an Education Consultant with the Diocese of St Albans. I am a Trust Member for Ridgeway Learning Partnership, and previously served as an ex-officio governor of Castle Federation, and a governor on the governing bodies of a community secondary school and a Church of England first school. I hold a BA(Hons) in Business and Information Technology with QTS from the University of Brighton, and the National Professional Qualification for Headship. As a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, and a number of musical organisations, I remain dedicated to advancing educational excellence.
