Spent almost 39 years involved in heavy highway construction inspection and contract management; 35 of those years in the public sector. These projects involved everything from simple resurfacing projects to interstate widening projects. The majority of these involved the modernization of the Waterson Expressway (I-264) in Louisville. There were many bridge replacements over the years and work on widening existing and creating new arterials. The culmination of a public sector career occurred as the KYTC Construction Manager on the Ohio River Bridges Downtown Crossing project with outstanding KYTC teammates and Consulting Engineering Inspectors. I now work at AECOM assisting with their part in the Bridging Kentucky program with KYTC and assisting where needed with other AECOM initiatives.
