About Rob Harrison

I have more than forty-four years of experience as a design professional, including thirty-three years doing green design in Seattle. In 2009 I became one of the first 100 Certified Passive House Consultants in the United States. Advocacy for green building has always been part of my practice. In the last decade advocacy for walkable urbanism and climate-friendly civic policies has become a significant focus. I am familiar with all of the green building standards that apply in Seattle: LEED, Built Green, Living Building Challenge and Passive House. I have spoken before a wide range of organizations in Washington and Oregon, including AIA Seattle, Seattle City Council Central Staff, City of Seattle's Green Team, Rep. Jim McDermott, the Coast Guard, UW Capitol Resource Planning, the Housing Development Consortium, Miller|Hull, GGLO, Homesight, the Low Income Housing Institute, Homestead CLT, Capitol Hill Housing and many others.
