About Rob Harter

I am a nonprofit executive professional with over 29 years of experience in leading and building nonprofit organizations, leveraging resources and managing organizational growth. I have demonstrated communication skills with both large and small groups as a speaker, teacher and seminar facilitator. I am adept at using verbal, print, electronic communication along with social networking media and emerging technologies. I like to lead through inspiring others. I’m highly relational and have contagious energy combined with an entrepreneurial spirit. I speak, write and consult on issues relating to nonprofits, leadership, social-justice and personal development. I'm a frequent speaker and seminar facilitator, and founded as well as host the “Nonprofit Leadership Podcast”. I'm a member of and contributor for the Forbes Nonprofit Council. I was invited to be part of Harvard Business School’s “Young American Leaders Program” in 2021. I also serve on the Utah Advisory Committee for the US Global Leadership Coalition. I currently serve on the Park City Chamber of Commerce, have chaired the MLK Jr. Commission for Human Rights for the State of Utah and served as the Chair of the Utah Nonprofit Association’s Board. I was also recognized as a “Hometown Hero” by Salt Lake Magazine. Since 2010, I have served as the CEO of CCPC, a humanitarian and community-focused nonprofit organization with a bold vision to serve as a leading networker of community services, based in Park City, Utah, that reaches throughout the State. I love deep-powder skiing, hiking, mountain biking, devouring great books, and traveling to new places. Most of all, I love spending quality time with my amazing wife and kids.
