About Rob Hazard

I am an attorney and certified public accountant whose practice is dedicated to estate planning, business and corporate law and commercial transactions. I offer families and individuals comprehensive estate planning solutions that are tailored to their particular needs and goals. I assist clients with all aspects of estate and trust planning, including the creation of wills, trusts, financial and medical durable powers of attorney, as well as the administration of trust and probate estates. In addition to my estate planning practice, I regularly advise businesses and individual clients in business transactions including real estate acquisition, development and financing. My experience includes the negotiation, documentation, review and closing of numerous commercial transactions including multi-million dollar business acquisitions and complex commercial real estate purchases involving office buildings, apartment complexes, retail centers and medical/healthcare properties, among others. I also have considerable experience advising business entities of all types and sizes on general business matters including entity formation and structure, business ownership conflict, mergers and acquisitions, capital funding, debt financing and general contractual drafting and negotiation. Prior to practicing law, I worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young, LLP in New York where I provided advisory services to business organizations. I also worked as a law clerk for the Internal Revenue Service’s Small Business/Self-Employed Division in Saint Louis. A native of Tullahoma, I reside with my family in Brentwood, Tennessee. Away from the office, when not spending time with my wife, three children and wheaten terrier, I enjoy listening to live music and attempting to perfect my very imperfect golf swing.
