About Rob Henderson

I am a seasoned entrepreneurial leader who builds and transforms technology-driven companies. I have been told I am a strong leader and mentor, with a unique ability to inspire others - probably because I love helping people and have learned the importance of empathy. I also understand that leadership is always changing and evolving and never take that for granted – I am always trying to be a better leader. I love to win – and believe how you win is just as important. I am a creative and strategic thinker, however I believe culture trumps strategy and value alignment trumps everything – I am a values based leader and have built purpose led cultures. My entrepreneurial path has allowed me to wear many hats and to gain a thorough understanding of all business functions – however, I am most skilled in marketing, sales, and business development. I am most calm (outwardly) when others are not. I love the art of a deal – and have be known to hunt and close elephants, but also understand the importance of growth and scale - which isn't always achieved through larger deals. I am a fan of Seth Godin and believe every business leader should read “The Lean-Start up” by Eric Ries I am a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs (please don’t judge – just admire my loyalty and patience!) I take my work and profession seriously – but not necessarily myself. I believe humour and wit belong in the workplace and am a sucker for a great pun.
